Realme is expected to announce its Snapdragon 888 powered flagship phone in Q1 2021. Reports surrounding it has revealed that it is codenamed “Race.” There have been speculations that the SD888 phone by Realme could be releasing with Ace branding. Fresh information reveals that the device will break cover with the Realme Koi moniker.
Realme has started a new account for “Realme Koi phone” on Weibo. The first only Weibo post reveals that it will be debuting with Koi branding. It appears that the company will use the new Weibo profile to share more details about the Realme Koi phone in the coming days.
The only thing that Realme has confirmed about the Koi phone is that it’s equipped with the Snapdragon 888. A leaked shot that was shared by GSMArena earlier this month had revealed that the rear shell of its upcoming flagship will have curved edges and a circular camera module with four cameras inside it. There is no word on the front design of the smartphone.
The Realme flagship phone’s model number is RMX2022 and it is expected to arrive with 12 GB of RAM. The phone may offer users with an internal storage of 256 GB. It will come preloaded with Android 11 OS and Realme UI 2.0.
It is likely that the Realme Koi phone could be the brand’s first phone with 125W Ultra DART fast charging technology. As demonstrated a few months back, the 125W charging tech can fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in 20 minutes.
