Leaked information that appeared in December 2020 claimed that the Realme Narzo 30 series of smartphones may launch in India in January. While there is no official confirmation yet from Realme India on its arrival, it seems that its launch date may not be far away. The reason behind that the Realme Narzo 30A phone has bagged an important certification today.
Today, the Realme Narzo 30A moniker appeared in the database of the NBTC certification body of Thailand. The listing mentions that the device has a model number of RMX3171 but has no details on its specs. Apart from Thailand, the handset is also expected to arrive in India as it was certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in December. Recent reports have revealed that the certification sites of Indonesia have also approved the device.
Popular tipster Mukul Sharma revealed last month that the upcoming Narzo series has Narzo 30, Narzo 30 Pro, and a third handset. The latter is most likely the Narzo 30A that has bagged multiple certifications in the recent past. These handsets will be replacing Narzo 20, Narzo 20A, and Narzo 20 Pro phones that debuted in September 2020.
Unfortunately, the rumor milli is yet to spill any information on the specifications of the Realme Narzo 30 series. Probably, the company could be planning to launch the Narzo 30 models at some point in the first quarter of 2021.
In related news, Realme is working on a couple of new devices for China. It recently confirmed that one of its upcoming high-end phones will be equipped with Dimensity 1200 chipset. Rumors have it that this device could be the Realme X9 Pro. The company is also expected to announce the Realme Race Pro flagship phone with Snapdragon 888 chip in Q1 in the home market. Another leak that appeared earlier this week claimed the company could be working on a Dimensity 700 powered phone. It may break cover the cheapest 5G phone from the brand.
