Right off the bat, the Realme Narzo 50 comes with a 6.6” IPS LCD display which features a FHD+ screen resolution along with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. To help with selfie and video calls, it’s also equipped with a 16 megapixels front-facing camera on the upper-left corner of the screen.

Flipping the phone over, we’ll be greeted by a redesigned square-shaped camera module which allows us to easily differentiate the device from it’s predecessor. This time round, it’s main camera has been upgraded from 48 megapixels sensor to a slightly more capable 50 megapixels imaging sensor which will be joined by a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.

Unlike the Narzo 30 smartphone which was powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, the Narzo 50 opted for a Helio G96 chipset which supposedly offers slight performance gain over the former. This will be paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage in the memory department.

To keep it’s lights on, the phone is fitted with a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. Apart from that, it also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and is shipped with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.

For those who’re interested, the Realme Narzo 50 is priced at INR12,999 (US$173) and INR15,499 (US$205) respectively for it’s 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants in the Indian market.
