Realme Narzo 50A Prime debuts with Unisoc T612 chipset & 50MP triple-cameras

Realme had already launched quite a number of smartphones from the company’s Narzo 50 lineup over the past couple of months. However, that didn’t stops the company from launching another model known as the Realme Narzo 50A Prime in the Indonesian market today.

The newly announced model features a 6.6” IPS LCD display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Other than that, you also get an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video calling purposes.

At the back, the phone comes with a stylish-looking triple-cam setup which comprises of a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of auxiliary cameras for macro and depth information. Interestingly, the company didn’t reveal any information pertaining to the resolution of the latter two cameras, so they remain under wraps at the moment.

Under the hood, the Realme Narzo 50A Prime is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T612 chipset that’s accompanied with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage which supports further expansion via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the Realme Narzo 50A Prime is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Other than that, it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and is shipped with Realme UI R based on Android 11 OS out of the box.

For those who’re interested, the Realme Narzo 50A Prime is available in both Flash Blue and Flash Black colorways. It’ll be priced at 1,999,000 Rupiah (US$140) and 2,199,000 Rupiah (US$155) respectively for it’s 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB varaints.
