Redmi has just launched the Redmi Turbo 4 in China. The world’s first Dimensity 8400-Ultra packs a massive 6,550mAh battery and features a 50-megapixel dual-camera system. While this phone appears quite enticing, buyers may want to consider the Realme Neo 7 SE, which will be hitting the Chinese markets soon.
Realme Neo 7 to feature Dimensity 8400-Ultra chip, 7,000mAh battery
The above poster confirms that the Realme Neo 7 SE will launch in February 2025 in China. To rival the Turbo 4, it will pack the same Dimensity 8400-Max chipset. While the brand has confirmed its chipset and launch timeframe, it hasn’t revealed anything else about it.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed in a new Weibo post that the Realme Neo 7 SE will run on a 7,000mAh battery. This phone will be positioned lower than the Realme Neo 7, which was announced in December with a Dimensity 9300+ chip and a 7,000mAh battery onboard. Given that the Neo 7 starts at 2,199 Yuan ($275), it seems likely that the Neo 7 SE will cost 1,899 Yuan ($260).
The Realme Neo 7 SE will be succeeding the Realme GT Neo 6 SE from last year. To recall, it came with a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it featured the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip, up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging support. For photography, it featured a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back. It is likely that the upcoming Neo 7 SE may get rebranded as the Realme GT 7T in the global market.
