Realme recently showcased a concept phone packed with a humongous 15,000mAh battery. While this phone is unlikely to hit the market, the brand is said to be working on an 8,000mAh battery phone. Today, tipster Smart Pikachu revealed the name of the device through a new Weibo post.
Realme Neo 8 to pack an 8,000mAh battery

As can be seen above, the tipster claimed that Realme will soon launch a high-performance phone packed with an 8,000mAh battery. He added that a mid-range Realme phone with a 10,000mAh battery is also in the works.
While there is no clarity about the final marketing name of the 10,000mAh Realme phone, the hashtag used in the post reveals that the 8,000mAh battery phone could be called the Realme Neo 8. The tipster did not reveal any information about the launch timeframe of the Neo 8. However, it appears that the device may hit the Chinese market after the GT 8 series, which will launch in October in China.
The GT 8 series is expected to include two models powered by next-generation flagship chipsets. Reports suggest that both phones may pack around 7,000mAh batteries. To recall, the Realme Neo 7 was announced in December 2024 in China. Therefore, its successor may hit the market around the same time this year.
Recent reports have revealed that the Neo 8 will have an OLED LTPS panel that will support a 1.5K resolution and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. There is a possibility that either the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 or the Dimensity 9500e may power the Neo 8.
