Back in September last year, Realme announced it’s first-ever tablet known as the Realme Pad in the Asian markets. Fast forward six months, the company is now back with a more compact and lightweight model known as the Realme Pad Mini which carries an affordable starting price of just PHP9,990 (US$195) in the Philippines.
Starting with the front side of the slate, the Realme Pad Mini features a 8.4” LCD display upfront which offers a modest 1340 x 800 pixels screen resolution along with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
For imaging and selfies, the Realme Pad Mini will be featuring an 8 megapixels rear snapper as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera. Nothing too fancy here since it’s expected to be a budget-focused slate.
Under the hood, the slate is powered by an octa-core Unisoc chipset T616 chipset which will be supplemented by up to 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which can still be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Realme Pad Mini is also backed by a respectable 6,400mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Coming to the software side of things, it’ll be shipped with Realme UI (for Pad) based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Realme Pad Mini is available in both Blue and Grey colorways, and is priced at PHP9,990 (US$195) and PHP11,990 (US$233) respectively for it’s 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB variants.
