Last year in April, Realme unveiled the Realme Q3i, Realme Q3, and Realme Q3 Pro smartphones in China. Today, the company revealed that it will be unveiling the Realme Q5 lineup at 2 pm (local time) on April 20 in China. It is being speculated that it may announce at least two devices, the Realme Q5 and Realme Q5 Pro on the said date.
The poster released by the brand does not reveal any information on the specs of the Realme Q5 lineup. Now that the Q5 series is set to launch next, Realme is expected to reveal some of its key features in the coming days.
Recently, a Realme phone with an RMX3372 model number was spotted with upper mid-range specs in the database of the TENAA certification. This device is likely to break cover as the Realme Q5 Pro in the homeland.
The Realme RMX3372 features a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. It offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 870 chip is likely to power the Realme RMX3372 with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage.
The RMX3372 will house a 5,000mAh battery, which may carry support for fast charging. For photography, it will feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. It will also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a microSD card slot. It is likely to arrive in colors like Mirror Black, Dream Blue, and Super Orange.
Realme phones with model numbers RMX3574, RMX3575/6, and RMX3571 have also been approved by the TENAA authority. It remains to be seen whether any of these devices debut in the Chinese market as a Q5 series product.
