Realme will be launching the brand new Realme Q5 series smartphones on April 20th this week. Prior to it’s launch, the company has went ahead to unveil another entry-level smartphone from the Q5 series lineup known as the Realme Q5i in it’s domestic market.
Starting with the front side of the phone, the new Realme Q5i features a 6.58” AMOLED display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.
On the rear side, it has a rectangular-shaped camera module which houses a pair of cameras comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portrait photography.
Under the hood, the Realme Q5i is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset which will be paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a respectable 4,800mAh battery which carries support for 33W fast-charging. Software-wise, it’ll be covered with Realme UI 3,0 based on Android 12 OS right off the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Black and Blue. The Realme Q5i will be priced at 1,199 Yuan (US$185) and 1,299 Yuan (US$204) respectively for it’s 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB variants.
