After launching Realme Pro 2, Realme 2 and Realme C1 smartphones in India, the Realme is now prepping to launch Realme U1 smartphone. Today, Oppo’s sub-brand has confirmed that it will be launching the Realme U1 smartphone on Nov. 28. The smartphone will be exclusively available for buying through Amazon India.
The above image reveals that the Realme U1 will be a selfie centric smartphone from the company. It will be announced at 1:30 PM IST on Nov. 28. There is not much information available on the specifications of the smartphone. However, Madhav Sheth who is the CEO of Realme has confirmed that it will be arriving as the first phone to be fueled by the all new MediaTek Helio P70 chipset.
The teasers on Amazon India reveal that the Realme U1 will be the most powerful smartphone for shooting selfies. The smartphone will carry support for multi-frame noise reduction for images. It will be equipped with AI capabilities for accurate photography experience. It is speculated to feature a dedicated LED flash for capturing enhanced selfie shots.
Like the recent Oppo and Realme phones, the Realme U1 may feature a waterdrop notch equipped display. The front camera of the phone may also carry support for facial recognition. The other specs of the smartphone are still under the wraps. More details on it may surface as the launch date nears.
