On Jan. 7, Realme will be taking off covers from the all-new Realme V15 smartphone. Posters released by the brand have revealed that the Realme V15 will be sporting a colorful rear shell. Today, a tipster from China shared a live shot of a Crescent Silver variant of the Realme V15 to showcase its appearance in real skin.
The Realme V15 can be seen in gradient silver color in the new image. The back panel of the phone has curved edges and it has a rectangle-shaped camera module at the top-left corner. The “64 AI Camera” text and an elongated LED flash unit can be seen next to the three protruding cameras. The handset has a thickness of only 8.1mm and it weighs only 176 grams.
The rumor mill has leaked only a few specifications of the smartphone so far. It is speculated that the Realme V15 will be driven by the Dimensity 800U chipset. The size of its battery is not known yet. However, it is expected to arrive with support for 50W fast charging.
At the front, the Realme V15 features a punch-hole screen. Since it does not feature a side-facing or a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, it can be assumed that the V15 is fitted with an OLED screen that is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The display size is not known yet and it is unclear whether it will be supporting a high refresh rate.
In related news, Realme China President Xu Qi claimed through a Weibo post that the Realme V5 series is priced between 1,500 Yuan ($232) and 2,000 Yuan ($309). The first and second generation models are named as Realme V5 and V15 and its third generation model will be called Realme V25. On the other side, the Realme V3 series is be positioned between 1000 Yuan ($155) and 1,500 Yuan ($232). The V3 will be followed up with V13 and V23, and so on.
