After launching the Realme V25 smartphone back in March, Realme is now back with another affordable 5G model known as the Realme V23 in the Chinese market where the phone is available in both 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants which are priced respectively at 1,699 Yuan (US$257) and 1,899 Yuan (US$287).
For starter, the Realme V23 features a 6.58” IPS LCD display offering a FHD+ screen resolution alongside a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, there’s also an 8 megapixels front-facing camera situated within a centered hole-punch cutout.
Over at the back, the Realme V23 sports a rectangular camera bump which play host to a pair of rear cameras comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor to help with portrait shots.
Under the hood, the Realme V23 is driven by an octa-core MediaTek chipset which is also adopted by several notable models such as the POCO M4 Pro 5G (Review). This will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.
Rounding out it’s hardware will be a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. As usual, the Realme V25 is shipped with a custom Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 OS right off the box.
