Besides launching the Realme X7 series smartphones, Realme has also unveiled an ultra-affordable 5G smartphone – Realme V3 – during the online launch event held in China today.
Based on its specs and pricing, the Realme V3 shape up to be a decent competitor against some of the budget 5G mid-ranger smartphones including the recent ones from the Huawei Enjoy 20 series.
At the front, the Realme V3 features a 6.5-inches LCD display with HD+ screen resolution. It comes with the usual dewdrop-notch design to house its 8 megapixels selfie camera.
Flipping the device over, there will be a squarish camera housing located on the upper-left corner which resembles what we’d saw on the Realme C12.
It has a total of 3 cameras at the back comprising of a 13 megapixels primary shooter, 2 megapixels macro camera as well as a 2 megapixels portrait lens. A rear-mounted fingerprint scanner is present as well.
Under the hood, the Realme V3 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC – the same chip which is also used on the recent Realme V5. It will be assisted by up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in its memory department.
To keep its light on, the device flaunts a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. On the software-side, it runs on the custom Realme UI based on Android 10 OS.
For those who’re interested, the Realme V3 will be priced at 999 Yuan (US$147), 1,399 Yuan (US$205), as well as 1,599 Yuan (US$235) respectively for its 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128 and 8GB+128GB models.
