Last week, Realme had already dropped their confirmation on an upcoming V-series smartphone known as the Realme V5. Right now, the company has also announced that the device will be officially launched on August 3rd next month.
Prior to its launch, Realme had released the official renders of the Realme V5 in three different colorways including Silver, Blue and Green. This time round, the Realme V5 will be employing a single hole-punch display at the front as well as a rectangular camera housing on its rear panel.
Although such rectangular camera housing is a common sight among recent smartphones, but the Realme V5 is actually the first smartphone from the company to feature this design. In the past, Realme has been sticking closely to a pill-shape design for its rear cameras system.
Coming to its specifications, the Realme V5 is expected to feature a 6.5-inches FHD+ LCD display with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Just like the upcoming OPPO A72 5G, the Realme V5 will also be powered by the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 720 platform.
The device will be a 5G-ready smartphone capable of supporting both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. It will have up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage under the hood as well.
In the camera department, the Realme V5 will have a quad-cameras system which include a 48 megapixels main camera. As for the other three cameras, they are likely to be an ultra-wide lens, macro camera, as well as a depth sensor.
