Realme has officially announced the next-generation’s Realme Watch 2 fitness tracker in the Malaysian market that will compete against the likes of recently announced models including the Huawei Band 6 (unbox video) and Mi Smart Band 6 (unbox video).
Just like it’s predecessor, the new Realme Watch 2 retains the same 1.4” IPS LCD touch display that offers a sharp 320 x 320 pixels resolution as well as a peak brightness of up to 600 nits. As usual, the Realme Watch 2 remains ultra-light at just 38 grams.
In terms of features and functionalities, the Realme Watch 2 offers up to 90 sport modes along with all the crucial health trackers including 24-hour heart rate monitoring, SpO2 measurement, as well as sleep and stress tracking. Other than that, you also get all the usual staples like music control, camera control, stop watch, weather forecast, call notification, alarm, raise-to-wake and many more.
According to Realme, its 315mAh battery is capable of supporting up to 12-days usage. Most importantly, it also carries a IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. For those who’re interested, the Realme Watch 2 is priced at just RM229 (US$56) in the Malaysian market.
