In May, Realme had launched the Realme X as it first smartphone with notch-less display and pop-up selfie camera. The smartphone was released in RAM variants like 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB RAM. The 8 GB RAM variant of the smartphone featured 128 GB of storage. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that it will start selling a new variant of the Realme X featuring with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage starting from Aug. 18 in China. The new model is now up for reservations.
The pre-orders of the 8 GB + 256 GB Realme have srated on Realme’s official online store, Jingdong Mall, Tmall and Suning. The handset carries a price tag of 2,099 Yuan. The 8 GB + 128 GB model was introduced with a price tag of 1,799 Yuan. However, it is currently available with a discounted pricing of 1,599 Yuan in the home market. Coming back to the new variant, customers who reserve it will be able to take advantage of 100 Yuan and purchase it for 1,999 Yuan.
The Realme X has a 6.53-inch AMOLED display that is embedded with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset. The rear shell of the phone has a dual camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary lens and a 5-megapixel secondary lens. It has a pop-up selfie snapper of 16-megapixel. The 3,765mAh battery is coupled with 20W fast charging technology.
