Realme has recently confirmed that its upcoming Realme X50 5G phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G mobile platform. The Chinese manufacturer is not aggressively teasing the arrival of the Realme X50 5G which indicates that it may not go official this year. Yesterday evening Realme CMO Xu Qi released a Realme X50 5G teaser that suggested that it may go official on Jan. 5.
As it can be seen in the above shown Weibo post, Qi has said that the press conference for the Realme X50 is only _ _ days away. A closer look between the two treadmill reveals the number 20 which suggests that the launch date of the Realme X50 could be 20 days away. Hence, it appears that the smartphone may go official on Jan. 5. A previous report had suggested that the Realme X50 could be launching before Jan. 25.
As of this writing, there are not many details available on the specs of the Realme X50. All that it is known is that it is powered by the SD765G and it features a pill-shaped punch-hole on its display.
Shown above is a leaked render of the Realme X50 phone that surfaced few days. The image shows the device has an in-screen fingerprint reader and a quad camera setup on its back. However, there is no confirmation on the authenticity of the image. Leaked information that surfaced along with the image stated that the phone will come with 12 GB of RAM, ColorOS 7, 128 GB of native storage and 50W fast charging.
