Earlier this month, a mysterious Realme smartphone carrying the model number RMX2025 was certified by the Chinese MIIT authority. This device was listed with inherent 5G support for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
I can now confirm that Realme X50 Pro (5G) is indeed in the works. It has the model number RMX2025 and it has already received the MIIT certification.
It will be unveiled during the MWC 2020. My source tells me that it will likely launch in India too.#Realme #RealmeX50Pro pic.twitter.com/Ly2Q0vtF1p— Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) January 23, 2020
Now, renowned tipster Mukul Sharma is finally able to shed some light on the identity of this handset. According to him, this device is in fact the long rumored Realme X50 Pro 5G which we’d been hearing for quite some time.
He moved on to suggest that the device will make it’s official debut during the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020, and is likely to be launched in India some time later.
Besides the Realme X50 Pro 5G, the Chinese smartphone maker is also currently prepping another flagship model which had already been spotted on AnTuTu benchmark yesterday.
This device, carrying the model number RMX2071, is currently the top-scorer on AnTuTu with an impressive score of 574,985 points. If this device was to be marketed under the “X50” series, then there is also a possibility that it could be the “Master Edition” version of the X50 Pro.
For now, information regarding these devices are still pretty scarce. Hopefully, we’re able to hear more about them in the coming weeks.
