Although the Realme X50 5G is barely 3-month-old, but reputable tipster Mukul Sharma has confirmed that the device’s successor is currently in the pipeline.
Received a tip that Realme X60 5G is in the works.
This time, the rear design is likely to change, especially the camera.#realme #realmex60— Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) April 2, 2020
This device will be known as the Realme X60 5G, and is said to arrive with a redesigned rear panel especially the design of it’s rear camera module. Although no further details were given, but we might be able to see a circular camera module similar to that of the upcoming OPPO Ace 2, on the Realme X60 5G as well.
Keeping in mind that the current Realme X50 5G is a premium mid-ranger phone, we do expect the Realme X60 5G to be placed within the same segment as well. As such, there is a possibility that the device might be powered by the same Snapdragon 765 SoC or any other upcoming chip from the same segment.
Currently, the Realme X50 5G is available only in the Chinese market. However, it is possible that the Realme X60 5G might finally head out to the global market this time round.
Besides the Realme X60 5G, there should also be a flagship model known as Realme X60 Pro 5G which will be fueled by Qualcomm’s flagship SoC.
