Realme has officially announced their latest upper mid-ranger offering in Singapore – Realme XT. Although Realme isn’t really a household brand in the local market, but it is becoming one of the leading smartphone brand in India and has more than 17 million users globally.
Realme XT Design
For starter, the Realme XT features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution. The front panel employs a dewdrop notch design which allows it to achieve an overall 91.9% screen-to-body ratio which will provide you with an immersive full-screen experience.
On the rear side, the Realme XT boast a symmetrical 3D glass with curved design made of Gorilla Glass 5 hot bending technology which gives it an extremely stylish outlook.

Under the hood, the Realme XT is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 712 SoC coupled with a hefty 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. If you find the storage insufficient, you can further expand it by up to 256GB via it’s microSD slot.
Moving on to it’s camera, there will be a flattering quad-camera setup on it’s rear side comprising of a 64 megapixels (f/1.8 aperture) main snapper, an 8 megapixels (f/2.3 aperture) ultra wide-angle lens, a 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) dedicated macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) depth sensor. Similarly, there will also be a 16 megapixels front-facing camera as well.
As usual, the device will also be coming with some incredible camera technology like the Realme’s Double Lens Distortion Correction (DLDC) engine which will correct edge distortion to ensure crystal clear photos.
The Realme XT will be fueled by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 20W VOOC Flash Charge 3.0. Currently, the device runs on ColorOS 6 based on Android Pie OS.
However, Realme has confirmed that the Realme XT will be updated to the latest Android 10 OS in Q1 2020. Along with that, we also expect the firm to bring their upcoming ColorOS 7 to the device as well.

For those who’re interested, the Realme XT is currently retailing at an affordable price of just S$469 – making it one of the cheapest handset in the upper mid-ranger smartphone segment.
