Last week, Nubia President Ni Fei released the first teaser of the upcoming Red Magic gaming smartphone. Rumors are rife that the device will be arriving in the market with the Red Magic 6 moniker. Today, a Weibo user shared an image of the alleged Red Magic 6 to showcase its refreshed design.
As can be seen image, the alleged Red Magic 6 has a horizontal camera module that seems to house at least three cameras. The Red Magic branding can be seen below the camera module.
An X-shaped steel plate engraved with ‘Tencent Games’ is placed below the company’s branding. The left and right edges between the X-shaped plate seems to be equipped with air vents or stereo speakers.
The Red Magic logo can also be seen towards the bottom of the phone’s rear shell. The rear design of the device is quite different from the predecessor Red Magic 3 / 5S gaming phone.
It appears that Nubia has partnered with Tencent Games for in-game optimizations for the Red Magic 6. As it is known, the smartphone will offer topnotch performance since it will be arriving with the Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform.
The company has already confirmed that the Red Magic 6 has a 4,500mAh battery and it will arrive with 120W fast charging technology. Yesterday, two variants of the Red Magic 6 were spotted at the 3C certification platform of China.
It is speculated that the NX669J-P that appeared with a 120W charger could be the Red Magic 6 Pro, whereas the NX669 model that was spotted with a 66W charger could be the vanilla Red Magic 6 phone.
