Smartphone manufacturers are usually very meticulous when it comes to choosing a colour variant for its devices. However, one colour that many manufacturers cant ignore is Red. We saw a host of the red variant smartphones last year either coming at launch or some weeks after launch. Earlier today, Apple announced the Red variant of iPhone 8 which will be officially launched tomorrow.
Now, a red variant poster for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has surfaced online. This poster was released by Xiaomi official and it shows that the smartphone will come with a white front panel (iPhone 8 red special edition front panel is black). Although the timeline for the arrival of this smartphone was not given, this poster suggests that it may be coming very soon.
As of now, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is available in four colour variants which include blue, black, gold and rose gold. This smartphone is usually out of stock but official sales will commence by 10:00 on the morning of April 10. We expect that the red variant will be launched when the company has been able to meet with the high demand for this device. In addition, Xiaomi has launched the red version of Xiaomi Mi 5X, which was released on October 25, 2017. If the red variant of the Redmi Note 5 is eventually launched, will you consider buying it?
