Following the launch of Redmi 10C earlier this month, Xiaomi is now back with an even more affordable model known as the Redmi 10A in it’s domestic market where the phone carries an affordable launch price starting at just 699 Yuan (US$110).
The latest model comes with a 6.51” IPS LCD display which offers a HD+ screen resolution alongside a 60Hz refresh rate. On top of that, there’s also a 5 megapixels front-facing camera to help with video calls and selfies on the device.
At the back, the phone comes with an identical camera design as the Redmi 10C. However, instead of sporting a pair of lenses, the Redmi 10A only has a single 13 megapixels camera aided by a LED flash for low-light photography.
Under the hood, the Redmi 10A is powered by an entry-level MediaTek Helio G25 chipset which will be paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a respectable 5,020mAh battery with 10W charging speed. Software-wise, it’ll be shipped with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Redmi 10A is available in a trio of colors such as Gray, Black, and Blue. The phone will be priced starting at 699 Yuan (US$110) for it’s 4GB+64GB base model and goes up to 899 Yuan (US$141) for the 6GB+128GB variant.
