On May 14, Redmi had launched the Redmi 7A through its social platforms in China. However, the Chinese firm had not confirmed on its price tag. It had claimed that its price will be official revealed during the unveil event of Redmi K20 series. Today, the Chinese firm unleashed the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro smartphones in China and it also confirmed the pricings of the two variants of the Redmi 7A.
The Redmi 7A comes in two models in Chinas such as 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage and 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage. These variants are respectively priced at 549 Yuan ($79) and 599 Yuan ($86). It can be availed in Black and Blue colors and it will be available for purchase from June 6.
The Redmi 7A comes with a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display that offers HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 439 chipset is present under the hood of the device. The MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device.
The smartphone is packed with a 3,000mAh battery. There is a hybrid SIM slot for adding a microSD card on the device. The rear side of the phone features a 13-megapixel camera. Placed on the front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. There is no fingerprint scanner on the device. Hence, it offers face recognition feature for user authentication.
