The Redmi 7A is the latest Redmi smartphone to go official. It has arrived to replace the Redmi 6A phone from last year. The Redmi 7A has arrived with an elongated display, Snapdragon 439 mobile platform and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
Redmi 7A Specifications
The Redmi 7A features a 5.45-inch display that supports 18:9 aspect ratio and HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The display comes with features like eye-protection mode, read mode and better visibility in outdoor conditions. The Snapdragon 439 is present under the hood of the device. The Android 9 Pie OS is overlaid with a simplified version of MIUI 10.
The handset is packed with a 4,000mAh battery that comes with support for 10W charging. The rear side of the phone has a 13-megapixel camera with an LED flash. The photography features available on the handset include PDAF, fast autofocus, AI background blur effects and AI beauty. The front camera of 5-megapixel can shoot beautified selfie shots. It also functions as AI face unlock.
Redmi 7A Price and Release Date
The Redmi 7A price will be confirmed on May 28 when the company will be launching the Redmi K20 series of flagship phones. However, speculations are rife that the Redmi 7A will be priced at 599 Yuan ($86) and it will include 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage since the Redmi 7 has a starting price of 699 Yuan ($116). The Redmi 7A will be available in colors like Blue and Black.
