Redmi 9, 9A & 9C specifications & pricing leaked

During the past three months, Redmi had announced quite a number of smartphones in the mid-ranger and flagship segment. Now, it seems like the company is now prepping a slew of smartphones which would cater to the budget segment according to reputable tipster @Sudhanshu1414. These devices include the Redmi 9, Redmi 9A, as well as Redmi 9C.

Among the trio, the Redmi 9 is expected to be the highest-end model. The device will features a 6.53-inches FHD+ LCD display which will be fitted with a 5 megapixels selfie camera.

Over at the rear, there will be a quad-camera setup which consists of a 13 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.

At the helm, the Redmi 9 will be driven by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 SoC which will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage space which is further expandable by up to 512GB via a microSD card.

A 5,000mAh battery will be available to keep the device running for hours of continuous usage. In the European market, the Redmi 9 is expected to be priced at around EUR160 (US$178) to EUR180 (US$200).

Redmi 9C

For the Redmi 9C, there will be two available variants – one with NFC support and another without NFC support. The model with NFC support will come with a dual-camera setup comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth/ macro camera.

The model without NFC support on the other hand, will come with an additional 5 megapixels sensor at the back which is expected to be an ultra-wide lens.

At the front, both models will share a similar 6.53-inches HD+ LCD display and will be driven by a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. This will be assisted by 3GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage which could also be expanded via a microSD card. Furthermore, the same 5,000mAh battery could also be found under the hood.

In terms of pricing, the Redmi 9C is expected to be priced a between EUR130 (US$145) to EUR150 (US$167).

Redmi 9A

Last but not the least, we have the most affordable model – Redmi 9A. Just like the Redmi 9C, this device will also be coming with a 6.53-inches HD+ LCD display but may have some differences in terms of its design.

In the imaging department, there will be a single 13 megapixels camera at the rear, which is completed with a 5 megapixels selfie camera at the front.

The Redmi 9A will be fueled by an upcoming MediaTek’s budget SoC known as Helio G25. This will be coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage in the memory compartment. As usual, this device is also able to support microSD card for memory expansion and features the same 5,000mAh battery.

For those who’re interested, the Redmi 9A will be priced between EUR100 (US$111) to EUR120 (US$134).
