However, based on its Chinese TENAA listing, the Redmi 9 in fact has a buffed up model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity as well. At current stage, it remains unknown whether this variant will be heading to the global market or is it exclusive only to the Chinese market.
Other than having an upgraded memory configurations, the rest of its specs will remain unchanged. The Redmi 9 will feature a 6.53-inches dewdrop-notch LCD display with FHD+ screen resolution.
For photography, the device has a quad-cameras system at the rear comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth helper. This will be completed with an 8 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
Under the hood, the Redmi 9 is driven by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. To keep its lights on, there will be a massive 5,020mAh battery at the helm with 18W fast-charging support.
