Coincidentally, the Redmi Note 9 4G that was launched in the Chinese market carries the model number M2010J19SC. This suggests that the Redmi 9 Power is likely to be the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 9 4G as signified by its last letter “I”.

Right now, a well-accredited leaker that goes by the Twitter handle @stufflistings has further revealed that the Redmi 9 Power is expected to be launched in the Indian market on December 15th later this month.

Sad to say, he didn’t divulge on whether Xiaomi will also be launching the Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G (Xiaomi Mi 10i) on the same day since there’s a likelihood for the pair to be launched in the global market as well.

Redmi Note 9 Power Specifications (Expected)

The Redmi 9 Power will be featuring a 6.53-inches FHD+ LCD display that arrives with a typical dewdrop-notch design for its front panel.

Under the hood, its powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 662 chipset which will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

For photography, there’ll be a triple camera system at the back consisting of a 48 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be rounded out by an 8 megapixels selfie camera at the front.

To keep its lights on, the Redmi 9 Power has a massive 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Aside from that, some other highlights of the device include its 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers.
