Xiaomi has officially announced a brand new entry-level smartphone known as the Redmi 9i in the Indian market today. This device however, is essentially a rebranded model of the Redmi 9A with a more RAM and storage.
At the front, the Redmi 9i offers a 6.53-inches dewdrop-notch display which offers a decent HD+ screen resolution. It comes with a 13 megapixels rear camera which will be rounded up by a 5 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
Under the hood, the Redmi 9i is powered by a budget MediaTek Helio G25 chipset assisted by up to 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. As usual, its storage capacity can be further expandable via a microSD card as well.
To keep its lights on, the Redmi 9A will be fitted with a massive 5,000mAh battery at the helm which is said to have up to 2 days worth of battery life.
For those who’re interested, there will be three different colors to choose from namely Midnight Black, Sea Blue, as well as Nature Green.
In the Indian market, the Redmi 9i is priced at INR8,299 (US$113/ S$153) and INR9,299 (US$126 /S$172) respectively for its 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB models.
