Reports have revealed that Redmi is working on its next entry-level phone, dubbed the Redmi A3. The device has bagged multiple certifications across different countries, hinting that it will be launching soon. Ahead of the expected launch, the unannounced phone was listed on an online retailer in Morrocco. The listing has revealed almost everything about the device.
Redmi A3 specifications
As per the listing, the Redmi A3 will feature a punch-hole display of 6.7 inches on the front. The screen will offer an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. In addition, it will also have Gorilla Glass protection. On the front, the device will feature an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and the round camera module on the back has a 13-megapixel camera, an auxiliary camera, and an LED flash.
The device is said to be powered by a MediaTek chip, but the exact name of the chip is not known yet. It will feature 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 64 GB / 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, and a microSD card slot for more storage. The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery that will support 10W charging via a USB port.
The Redmi A3 will come preloaded with Android 13 (Go Edition) and offer 4 GB of virtual RAM. It seems to feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security.
The Redmi A3 will measure 164.9 x 76.75 x 9.09mm and weigh 192 grams. The device will come in colors, such as black, blue, and green. It is likely that the A3 may debut at some point this month in different markets. As far as price is concerned, it is likely to be available for MAD 1,170.00 (~$115) in Morrocco.
