So far, the lineup includes devices such as Redmi K30 4G, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30 Pro 5G, Redmi K40 Pro 5G Zoom Edition, Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition and Redmi K30i 5G. Rumors have it that the Chinese brand is working another K30 series phone called Redmi K30 Ultra. It could be the last phone in the series. Today, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing took to Weibo to tease the arrival of a new smartphone. He could be hinting the launch of the Redmi K30 Ultra phone.
In May, MediaTek announced the Dimensity 1000+ SoC chipset. It debuted first on the iQOO Z1 phone that went official in the same month. Soon after its launch, the rumor mill started speculating that Redmi is also readying a Dimensity 1000+ powered handset.
A report published by XDA Developers this month revealed that the Dimensity 1000+ powered Redmi phone could be debuting as Redmi K30 Ultra. The teaser image released by Weibing does no good in revealing the identity of the device that he is teasing. Hopefully, further reports will reveal whether the company will be soon launching the Redmi K30 Ultra or some other phone.
