Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Xiaomi 18 series of flagship phones in September this year in China. Following its launch, its sub-brand Redmi may take the covers off the K100 lineup in October in the home market. A new leak by tipster Smart Pikachu reveals that the K100 series will arrive with a major upgrade.
Redmi K100 Pro Max / Poco F9 Ultra may feature 200MP camera

In the above leak, the tipster claims that the Redmi K100 series will feature a 200-megapixel camera and periscope cameras. Like the K90 series, the upcoming K100 lineup is expected to include the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max.
Among these, the brand may introduce a 200-megapixel camera on the Pro Max edition. It is not clear from the leak whether it will have a 200-megapixel sensor for the primary or periscope telephoto camera. To recall, the K90 Pro Max featured a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The Redmi K90 Pro, on the other hand, has a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. It remains to be seen whether the Redmi K100 Pro gets a periscope telephoto camera upgrade.
Likely, the K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max may debut as the Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra in the global market next year. These devices are expected to break cover in Q1 2026. Like the K100 Pro Max, the F9 Ultra could be equipped with a 200-megapixel camera.
