Yesterday, Redmi had teased that it will be launching a new gamepad for Redmi K20 series of smartphones. Today, the Chinese firm has announced a gamepad for the smartphone. The announcement of the gamepad for Redmi K20 series has come on the first day of the ChinaJoy 2019 gaming expo that begins from today in China.
The above poster reveals that the gamepad carries a price tag of 99 Yuan for Redmi K20 and K20 Pro users. It seems to be the very same gamepad that was announced at the launch event of the original Black Shark phone in April 2019. It carries a regular price tag of 179 Yuan. However, the Redmi K20 series users can avail it for a lower price tag of 99 Yuan only. The gamepad can be connected to the left or right edge of the phone when held it is held in horizontal position. It includes a joystick, mapable gaming buttons, Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and a battery.
The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro are respectively powered by Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 855 chipsets. Hence, these phones are designed to offer topnotch gaming experience. The newly introduced gamepad will help users to take their gaming experience to next level. The first sale of the gamepad for Redmi K20 series will begin tomorrow at 10:00AM in China.
