After a long wait, the Redmi K30 Pro will finally make it’s official debut on March 24th next week. However, besides the Redmi K30 Pro, a higher-end model known as the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition is expected to be announced during the launch event as well.
Apparently, this device had already been spotted on Geekbench earlier today, along with some of it’s key specs. According to it’s listing, the K30 Pro Zoom Edition has achieved an impressive scores of 900 points and 3,251 points respectively for it’s single-core and multi-cores performance tests.
Other than that, the same listing has also reaffirmed that the device will be driven by the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC which will be coupled with 8GB worth of RAM. On the software-side, the device will run on the latest MIUI 11 based on Android 10 OS.
In fact, the main difference between the “Zoom Edition” model and the Redmi K30 Pro lies within the camera system. The “Zoom Edition” as its name suggests, will come with an upgraded camera system over the Redmi K30 Pro.
Aside from that, it’s other key specs are expected to be largely similar to the K30 Pro. Therefore, we can expect it to feature the latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage technologies as well. Likewise, it will also comes with 5G support for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
In terms of design, there should be no changes as well. Hence, it will also feature a motorized pop-up selfie camera which gives the device a clean-looking front panel that has a high screen-to-body ratio.
On it’s back panel, we can expect to see a circular camera module which play host to a total of four camera sensors.
In related news, Redmi’s Lu Weibing had recently assured on his Weibo post that the Redmi K30 Pro will be well-stocked to meet the demand of the consumers.
