As scheduled, the newly announced Redmi K30 Racing Edition finally went on its debut sale in China today. While the device doesn’t get sold out today, but Xiaomi still managed to attain a pretty remarkable sales figure for its debut sale. According to the company, more than 10,000 units of these devices were sold within 11 minutes after the sale commence.
As we all know, the Redmi K30 Racing Edition isn’t entirely a brand new device. The device has the same design and pretty much similar specs as the Redmi K30 5G, except it is being driven by the latest Snapdragon 768G SoC.
Being an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 765G SoC, the Snapdragon 768G it is able to deliver better performance than the latter. Other than that, the device also has a brand new Mint Green colorway which set it apart from the Redmi K30 5G.
In the Chinese market, the Redmi K30 Racing Edition is priced at 1,999 Yuan (US$282) for its sole 6GB+128GB model. As of now, there isn’t any official words whether this model will be heading out to the global market.
