After a long wait, Redmi has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Redmi K30 smartphone series will be making it’s official debut on December 10th.
The Redmi K30 series will be the first smartphone series from the Chinese smartphone maker to come with 5G support. According to Redmi, the device would be able to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
As usual, the Redmi K30 series is expected to feature a regular model as well as a “Pro” version with buffed up specs. Recently, a device with model number M2001G7AE touted to be regular Redmi K30 was certified by the Chinese 3C authority.
What we know about the Redmi K30 so far?
According to recent leaks, the Redmi K30 will be featuring a 6.66″ hole-punch display which shares a close resemblance to that of the Samsung Galaxy S10 plus.
The device is said to arrive with an incredible 120Hz screen, which place it above the OnePlus 7T Pro and Google Pixel XL in terms of screen refresh rate.
It is expected to be driven by an octa-core Snadragon 730 SoC under the hood. However, there are also some speculations that it might be driven by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 735 SoC with integrated 5G support.
Similarly, the Redmi K30’s alleged 3C certification has also revealed that it could support up to 30W fast-charging as well.
