Redmi K40 series breezes past 1 million sales mark in less than a month

Announced back in February last month, the Redmi K40 series smartphones had eased past the 1 million sales mark in less than a month after they went on sale in the Chinese market. This figure of course, includes the total number of Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 Pro+ sold in the Chinese market thus far.

Although it had already been a month since the Redmi K40 series smartphone made their official debut in the Chinese market, but the Redmi K40 Pro and K40 Pro+ have yet to make their way to the global market. In fact, it was only this week that the Redmi K40 made its way to the global market under the POCO F3 branding.

At the moment, there still isn’t any official words on when the Redmi K40 Pro and K40 Pro+ will be launched in the global market. However, earlier reports do suggests that the Redmi K40 Pro could be launched as the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro in certain markets including India. The Redmi K40 Pro+ on the other hand, could make its global debut under the Xiaomi Mi 11i moniker instead.

While most of us are heavily anticipating the launch of the Redmi K40 Pro and K40 Pro+ in the global market, but its worth turning our attention temporarily to Xiaomi’s upcoming massive launch event on March 29th where the company is expected to launch at least four smartphone models including Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, as well as the new Mi Mix series smartphone.
