Redmi will be announcing the Redmi K50 Pro on March 17 in China. Alongside it, the Xiaomi sub-brand is also expected to unveil the Redmi K40S and Redmi K50 handsets. Today, tipster Yogesh Brar shared all the major specs of the K50 Pro to reveal what to expect from the flagship phone.
Redmi K50 Pro Specifications (Rumored)
According to Brar, the Redmi K50 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a Quad HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The live shot of the phone shared by Xiaomiui shows that it will sport a centrally positioned punch-hole and slim bezels.
For selfies, the Redmi K50 Pro will have a 20-megapixel front camera. The triangle-shaped camera module available on the rear side of the phone will feature an OIS-assisted 108-megapixel primary camera. It will be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 5-megapixel macro snapper. Its other live shot shows that the flagship phone could come with a polycarbonate build.
The Dimensity 9000 chipset will be powering the Redmi K50 Pro. In China, the device is expected to arrive with 8 GB / 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will boot to the Android 12 operating system, which will be layered with the MIUI 13 skin.
The Redmi K50 Pro will pack a 5,000mAh battery, which will carry support for 120W rapid charging. The device will also offer other features such as dual speakers, Dolby Audio, Bluetooth 5.2, and WiFi 6. The leak has no information on the pricing of the K50 Pro.
