We’ve been hearing about the upcoming Redmi K50 series smartphones for quite some time and now, Xiaomi has once again reaffirmed the tentative time frame for it’s official launch.
According to the teaser published by the company, the Redmi K50 series smartphones would be launched after the Lunar New Year holiday which basically points towards a mid-February to end-February launch date for the devices.
While no other details were revealed by the company, we did know from past reports that the company will be launching several models such as the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, Redmi K50 Pro Plus, as well as the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition smartphones. These devices are rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 870, MediaTek Dimensity 8000, Dimensity 9000, as well as Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets respectively.
As usual, the main star within the entire lineup would none other than the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition which aims to offer a premium gaming experience for it’s users at a more accessible price point as compared to other gaming-centric smartphones from ASUS ROG or Lenovo Legion’s line.
Other than being equipped with a top-of-the-line chipset, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is also said to feature an upgraded haptic motor known as CyberEngine and also a capable audio system tuned by audiophile specialist JBL.
