The Redmi K50 series will be launching in February. Recent reports have revealed that the lineup will include multiple models powered by different Qualcomm and MediaTek processors. Now, reliable tipster WHY LAB has revealed the model numbers, monikers, and processor of the upcoming Redmi K50 variants.
The new leak reveals that the vanilla Redmi K50 has a 22021211RC model number. It was recently spotted with the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform. The Redmi K50 Pro has a 22041211AC model number and will be powered Dimensity 8000 chipset.
The K50 Pro+ has a 22011211C model number and it will feature the Dimensity 9000 SoC. The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition has a 21121210C model number. It is expected to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and a 4,700mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
The Redmi K50 Gaming has a 6.67-inch OLED display that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate. It has a front camera of 16-megapixel, and its rear shell has a 64-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
The K50 Gaming is expected to arrive with dual stereo speakers by JBL, an AAC 1016 ultrawide-band support, X-axis motor. The handset measures 162 x 76.8 x 8.45mm and weighs 210 grams.
The rumor mill is yet to spill concrete information on the specs of the Redmi K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+ models. Hopefully, more details about these models will appear in the coming weeks. It is unclear whether all four smartphones will be launching together in the coming month in February in China.
