A new Weibo post by Digital Chat Station reveals that the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro will pack some top-notch specs that are also available on the Xiaomi 13 series.
According to the tipster, a sub-flagship series of smartphones will come equipped with 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It appears that he could be talking about the upcoming flagship phones from Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi.
Rumors have it that the Redmi K60 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform, whereas the Redmi K60 Pro will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It appears that the topmost variant of both smartphones will have 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
In recent weeks, three Redmi phones with model numbers 22122RK93C, 22127RK46C, and 23013RK75C were approved by the 3C authority of China. The starting two variants are said to be the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60E. The 3C listings of both models have revealed that they will support 67W and 120W fast charging, respectively. The K60E is confirmed to feature the Dimensity 8200 chipset.
It is likely that the Redmi K60 and K60E may debut by the end of this month or early January in China. The 23013RK75C device, which is said to be the Redmi K60 Pro, is likely to support 67W fast charging. It may debut in January or February on the home market.
