Recent leaks have claimed that the upcoming Redmi K70 and the Redmi K70 Pro will be the first-ever Redmi phones to feature a telephoto camera. In the latest popular Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station seems to have revealed some details about the telephoto snapper of the K70 Pro.
Last year, in December, Redmi announced the Redmi K60e, K60, and K60 Pro with the Dimensity 8300, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets onboard, respectively. These devices are expected to be replaced by the Redmi K70e, K70, and K70 Pro. It is speculated that these devices will arrive with the Dimensity 8300, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, respectively.
According to the leak, an upcoming device codenamed “Manet” will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom. This device is said to be the upcoming Redmi K70 Pro.
Other reports revealed that the Redmi K70 Pro will feature an OLED panel that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device may run on Android 13 and MIUI 14. It is speculated that the K70 Pro could be equipped with a Sony IMX707 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support.
It is also being said that the Redmi K70 Pro will pack a 5,500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. The phone may also offer 30W or 50W wireless charging. It is speculated that the K70 Pro may get rebranded as the POCO F6 Pro in markets outside of China.
