He added that the lineup has an optimized primary camera, and the good news is that there won’t be any price hikes for the models with extra-large storage capacities. The blogger also hinted at the potential use of a metal middle frame and the inclusion of a flat display that offers 2K resolution.
The IMEI database reveals specific device models for the series: Redmi K70 (model 2311DRK48), K70e (model 23117RK66C), and K70 Pro (model 23113RKC6C). It is speculated that the Redmi K70 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, whereas the Pro will feature the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It is unclear whether the Redmi K70e will have the rumored Dimensity 8300 chip or a Snapdragon chip.
Additionally, leakers have hinted that the Redmi K70 series will eliminate the plastic frame and feature incredibly slim bezels, promising an impressive screen-to-body ratio. The lineup is expected to pack large batteries and offer up to 120W fast charging.
