Redmi is expected to unveil the Redmi K70 Ultra, a performance-focused flagship phone, later this month in China. As the name suggests, it is expected to succeed the Redmi K60 Ultra from last year. Today, the company rolled out the first images of the K70 Ultra to showcase its color variants.
As can be seen, the Redmi K70 Ultra will be available in three colors, such as black, white, and purple. It appears that all three variants have AG frosted glass backs, which suggests that they will not easily attract fingerprint marks.
As far as the build is concerned, the K70 Ultra will come equipped with a metal middle frame and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. On the front, the device will have a flat screen to facilitate an enhanced gaming experience.
Reports have revealed that the Redmi K70 Ultra will have a 6.67-inch OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will run on HyperOS-based Android 14 and feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset and a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging will power the K70 Ultra. It is expected to arrive in multiple configurations, such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. For photography, it may feature a 20-megapixel camera on the front and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel setup on the back.
