Firstly, there will be no K80e model; instead, the series will return with dual flagship models, the K80 and K80 Pro. These devices will debut with the HyperOS 2, which includes a new, highly visible, and user-friendly interface customized for Redmi.

The screen and battery life of the K80 series are expected to be exceptionally strong. Significant upgrades have been made to the camera system, with substantial investment in tuning for improved image quality.

The design of the K80 series has been significantly enhanced with a more premium feel, including a metal frame as accidentally revealed by Wang Teng Thomas during the live broadcast. Additionally, the series will include a range of AIoT products such as headphones and smartwatches, which Xinxin will introduce to users. Performance-wise, the K80 series is expected to be extremely powerful, outperforming competitors in benchmark tests. While prices will increase, the series promises exceptional value for money.

Images from the live broadcast revealed that the Redmi K80 Pro, which is anticipated to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite, achieved an impressive 3,016,450 points on AnTuTu benchmarks. The standard K80 is expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Wang Teng Thomas also confidently stated that the K80 series would be superior to the 13 series, with better configurations and lower prices. This likely refers to the recently launched OnePlus 13 and iQOO 13. According to reports, the Redmi K80 series may debut by the end of this month, with a starting price of 4,000 Yuan (approximately $560). It will compete with the iQOO Neo 10 series, OnePlus Ace 5 series, and Realme GT Neo 7, all expected to launch in China around the same time.
