Redmi is expected to announce much-anticipated Redmi K80 Ultra next month in China. Ahead of the launch, Thomas Wang, Xiaomi’s General Manager of China Marketing and General Manager of the Redmi brand, has already started teasing this upcoming performance-centric smartphone on Weibo. In his latest Weibo post, he has mentioned the price range and a few details about the K80 Ultra.

Wang Teng shared that the Redmi K80 Ultra will not only be performance-driven but also feature a luxurious build and advanced features. He confirmed that the device will have a metal middle frame and will have be slotted in the 3,000 Yuan ($415) price range in China.

Rumours suggest the Dimensity 9400 Plus-powered smartphone will be equipped with a 6.83-inch 1.5K resolution flat OLED display. For security, it may feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Like the other K80 series models, the Ultra edition will come with a circular rear camera module housing a 50-megapixel triple camera setup. It is also expected to include a large 7,500mAh battery supported by 120W fast charging. It is also expected to arrive with an IP68/69-rated chassis.
Meanwhile, alongside the K80 Ultra, a new gaming-focused Redmi tablet may also debut next month in China. These devices may not launch outside of the Chinese market. In China, the device will rival the likes of the Realme GT 7, iQOO Neo 10 Pro+, and OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra, which are already available in the market.’
