Redmi unveiled the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro in November 2024 in China. It is likely that the brand will add an Ultra variant in Q3 this year in the home market. Tipster Digital Chat Station has been consistently leaking new details about the K80 Ultra. Today too, he has released a new Weibo post to reveal its details.
Redmi K80 Ultra key specifications, design tipped
According to the tipster, the Redmi K80 Ultra will feature a 6.8x-inch OLED LTPS screen with a flat design. The screen will have equal-sized bezels and offer a 1.5K resolution. The device will have a metal middle frame for durability.
The leak also states that the Redmi K80 Ultra will have a round camera module. To recall, the Redmi K70 Ultra had a rectangular camera module with three cameras and an LED flash arranged in a square design at the top-left corner. The K70 Ultra’s camera module was in line with the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro. Similarly, the Redmi K80 Ultra’s camera module design will be similar to the K80 and K80 Pro, which adopted a new round camera island positioned at the upper-left corner.
Regarding the battery, the K80 Ultra is expected to house a 7,400mAh or 7,500mAh battery. As far as fast charging is concerned, it will be 100W like the K70 Ultra. Under the hood, the device will be equipped with the all-new Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset.
Redmi is reportedly working on two other devices. The first one is the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro with the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite, which may launch in April this year. There’s also a gaming tablet in the works with the Dimensity 9400+ chip onboard. This device, which may carry the Redmi Pad Pro 2 moniker, could launch alongside the Redmi K80 Ultra in July in China.
