Several reports have revealed that Redmi will announce a new K-series phone this month in China. Today, the brand released posters confirming the device’s name as the Redmi K90 Max, positioning it between the K90 and K90 Pro Max, which debuted back in October last year. Here’s a look at the first details of the K90 Max that have been officially confirmed by the brand.
Redmi K90 Max key details confirmed

The overall design of the Redmi K90 Max will not be too different from the existing models. However, there is one key difference, as it features a built-in cooling fan, making it Xiaomi’s first phone to offer this feature.
The K90 Max will be a gaming-focused offering and is said to be equipped with the Dimensity 9500 SoC. The device promises upgrades in areas such as gaming touch response, network stability, and audio experience.
Coming to the built-in fan, the company claims that the K90 Max has a large-sized fan for higher airflow and improved heat dissipation for sustained gaming performance. To be precise, the fan size is 18.1mm and is said to offer up to 1.3 times higher airflow compared to conventional designs.
The brand has also confirmed that the Redmi K90 Max will feature a 165Hz refresh rate display. The company is expected to release more teasers in the coming days to reveal additional details about the device.
Apart from the Redmi K90 Max, the brand is also said to be working on the Redmi K90 Ultra. This device is expected to go official at a later stage, possibly around mid-2026 in China.
