In March, Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 10, Note 10 Pro, and Note 10 Pro Max in India. In the same month, the global markets were treated with phones like Redmi Note 10S, Note 10 5G, and the Note 10 Pro. Fresh information reveals that the company is gearing up to launch a 5G version of the Note 10 Pro in the global markets.
A tipster has shared a leaked official promo image of the Note 10 Pro 5G. The handset shown in the image resembles the Note 10 Pro from the back. The image also hints that the device is powered by a 5G chipset from Qualcomm.
The global Redmi Note 10 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 732G. There is a possibility that the Note 10 Pro 5G could be equipped with a Snapdragon 7-series 5G SoC. Hence, it is being speculated that it could be equipped with the Snapdragon 750G or Snapdragon 780G. The inclusion of the latter seems unlikely as it could impact the sales of the SD780G chip powered Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G.
There is no information available on the other specifications of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. It remains to be seen whether it borrows some of its specs from its 4G variant. As far as its launch is concerned, it is likely to debut at some point in this month.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the SD732G chip, 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM, and a 5,020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It has a front camera of 16-megapixel and a 108-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera system. The phone ships with MIUI 12 based Android 11 OS, an internal storage of 128 GB, and a dedicated microSD card slot.
