Last year, Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 11 series of smartphones on Oct. 28 in China. Hence, there have been rumors that the Redmi Note 12 lineup will debut in October this year. Today, the company released an official confirmation that the Note 12 series will be made official this month in China.
The company claims that the Note 12 lineup will come with the largest upgrade in the history of the Redmi Note series. Without mentioning the details, it says that the Note 12 will come equipped with two major technologies.
The lineup is expected to include four models, the Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro+, and Note 12 Pro Ultra. At the 3C certification site, the first three have been seen with 67W, 120W, and 210W chargers.
At present, there is no information available on the specifications of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Ultra. Rumors have it that the Note 12 Pro and Pro+ will be equipped with the Dimensity 1080 chipset. The entire lineup is expected to arrive with an AMOLED panel and a 50-megapixel primary camera. Some of the Note 12 members are expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery.
The Note 12 series is expected to come preloaded with the Android 13 OS and the MIUI 13. Now that the brand has confirmed the October launch for the Redmi Note 12 series, it appears that it will soon start rolling out teasers to confirm its key features.
